Vintage Synth Lab (Repair Shop) was the continuing business name previously known as "Wire Audio Electronics Repair" by Eric Hold. From 2011 - 2012, the business remained open to performing repairs outside of synthesizers, such as tube and solid-state amplifiers, but primarily focused on keyboards of the 70s and 80s. VSL closed its repair shop, kept the name, and one year later, used the name to start a new product line...
Vintage Synth Lab (V.S.L. Eurorack) was founded by Eric Hold in 2014 as hardware engineer and product developer, and William Hart joined sooner after to help support product development with graphic design for product U.I. This first product was the NoisySix developed for the Korg Polysix as an improved MG ("Modulation Generator") or otherwise knowns as LFO, which possesses 6 LFO waveforms, and white & pink noise generation. A limited production run of 20 units were manufactured and sold.

In 2015, the primarily focus was development of Eurorack modules with an emphasis on unique design, and vintage analog character. Our products are manufactured and distributed by Darkplace Manufacturing.
